Animal Control

Our Mission is “To protect and serve the citizens and domestic animals in the City of Heber Springs by keeping stray and aggressive animals off the streets, returning lost pets to their rightful homes, educating the public in the proper care of animals and promoting spay/neuter to control the overpopulation of dogs and cats.”

Animal ownership is fun, but also a serious responsibility. 

Remember dogs & other animals can become territorial and/or feel threatened by people walking by their home. Their instinct can result in chasing & biting adults and children that are walking by on the street. This result is not good for the animal owner, the animal or citizens. There are laws that will be enforced when this happens.
