The mission of the Heber Springs Police Department Animal Control Division is “To protect and serve the citizens and animals within the corporate limits of the City of Heber Springs. Safeguarding the well-being of both residents and the animals in our community is our top priority. Our mission is accomplished by ensuring the humane treatment of animals through intervention, enforcement of both State and City animal control laws and education that promotes responsible pet ownership”.
We are committed to the animals as well as our residents and strive to raise the standard of pet ownership in our community. You can help by spreading the word about the benefits of spaying and neutering and promoting the idea of adoption instead of purchasing a new pet.
We live in a wonderful community and encourage all of our citizens to be responsible animal owners and good neighbors.
