City Council

The Heber Springs City Council is made up of elected officials that are considered the legislative body that govern Heber Springs. Although the city officials have been elected to office, many officials continue to maintain a career outside of the elected office.

CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS:

The Heber Springs City Council meets regularly on the third Thursday of each month (except on observed holidays) at the Heber Springs Community Center, 201 Bobbie Jean Lane, Heber Springs, AR. All meetings are open to the public, beginning at 6:00 p.m. In addition, special and emergency meetings may be called as needed.  The City Council enacts city ordinances, resolutions and proclamations, sets city policy and authorize all expenditures of city funds after adoption of annual budget. The City of Heber Springs encourages participation from its citizens.
